Woodbridge Group Closes Sunnex-Ace Medical Deal
Thursday, May 17, 2007

New Haven, Connecticut – May 17, 2007 – Woodbridge Group, Inc., an innovative mergers and acquisition firm serving clients throughout the U.S., is pleased to announce the sale of Ace Medical Equipment, Inc., a Florida-based distributor of medical equipment to Sunnex, Inc., a leading manufacturer of medical lighting systems headquartered in Stockholm, Sweden. Woodbridge Group advised Ace Medical in the transaction.

Said Robert F. Murphy, Woodbridge Group’s Chief Operating Officer, “Sunnex offered the perfect fit for our client. We were able to find a strategic buyer who could build on what Ace Medical Equipment had achieved. To identify Sunnex, we marketed Ace Medical, as we do all of our sell-side clients, to a wide and diverse universe of prospective buyers.” Mr. Murphy also highlighted Woodbridge Group’s creative use of video to distinguish the companies it markets as a factor in winning the attention of high-quality buyers for Ace Medical.

Jim Kleyman, president of Ace Medical, believes the deal delivered the best possible opportunity for the company. “I was very happy with the advice and leadership Woodbridge Group provided over the course of the transaction, and I am excited about the future of Ace Medical under the Sunnex umbrella,” he said. Mr. Kleyman will remain as President of Ace Medical.

Sunnex, Inc. designs and manufactures high-performance medical and industrial lighting, as well as anti-vibration and leveling products. In addition to Sweden, the company has offices in the U.S., France and Germany, with sales and service representatives in over 40 countries. Ace Medical Equipment sells new and refurbished medical and surgical equipment, which is used by hospitals, surgery centers and office-based medical practices.
