Woodbridge Is Now Woodbridge International

New Name for Leading Middle-Market M&A Firm

Reflects Global Scope

New Haven, Connecticut - January 4, 2012 - With more closings of cross-border deals and a steady increase in new international mandates, Woodbridge has changed its name to Woodbridge International to better reflect its international reach and cross-border transaction activity. Woodbridge International will continue to serve middle-market clients in North America, as well as those throughout Latin America, Europe, China and India.

"It's an exciting time for us," said Robert M. Koenig, president of Woodbridge International. "We are seeing strong demand in several of the foreign markets we've entered over the past six years. We are winning new clients overseas and many of the deals we closed in 2011 involved foreign-based companies."

Specializing in middle-market M&A transactions valued at $5 million to $100 million, Woodbridge's expansion overseas began in 2006 with the launching of the firm's European office in the Netherlands. Since then, Woodbridge International has opened offices in South America, Central America, and Mexico - and has completed transactions involving companies in Mexico, China, Europe and Japan.

"We're looking forward to robust middle-market activity in 2012 and are expecting to close even more cross-border deals this year than we did in 2011," said Koenig.

Woodbridge is an international, marketing-driven M&A firm headquartered in New Haven, CT. The firm serves clients from its 10 North American offices and locations in the Netherlands, Mexico, Argentina, Brazil and Honduras.
